Maintenance programs included Bio-waste & Waste  Removal, Elevators, M&E and Fre Safety systems.  Renewal projects included Roof Replacement, Flooring, Access Control, Lobby & Suite Renovations and HVAC upgrades..

Elizabeth Square, Burlington, Ontario:

Project Manager for this 6 storey, 50,000 SF Renovation project. Achieved substantial completion for occupancy within an 11 week schedule.

This project included demolition of interior partitions throughout 5 levels, provision of window openings on the second floor and interior renovations for federal, provincial and regional institutional tenants.  Sterry Technical managed 30 trade contractors and Group Eight Engineering.  Maintenance programs included Waste  Removal, Elevators, M&E and Fre Safety systems as well as co-ordination of emerg. repairs. 

Emerald Towers, Ottawa, Ontario:

Fire Code retrofits, asphalt, parking garage concrete repairs, waterproofing and roof replacement. Maintenance programs included Waste  Removal, Elevators, M&E and Fre Safety systems as well as co-ordination of repairs. 

Rexdale Crt Apts Burlington, Ontario:

Maintenance programs included Waste  Removal, Grounds Maintenance, Elevators, M&E and Fre Safety systems.  Renewal projects included Fire Code retrofits, asbestos removal, roof replacement, new windows, new heating boilers, complete replacement of asphalt and concrete paving, elevator retrofits, a lawn irrigation system, parking garage restoration, corridor & suite upgrades and the exterior wall cladding upgrade shown in these before & after photos;

Audit - Taylor Evans PS, Guelph, Ontario:

Various Schools - ReCAPP Audits:

Documented the condition and age of over 900 rooftop units at 68 schools including manufacturer, model, and serial numbers for ReCAPP and the Board’s new Preventive Maintenance database;

Documented the condition and age of over 160 boilers at 68 schools including manufacturer, model & serial numbers for ReCAPP and to develop the UGDSB’s Preventive Maintenance database;

Caldon Apts Burlington, Ontario:

Maintenance programs included waste management, snow & ice control, landscaping, elevators, mechanical. electrical, and fire safety systems as well as co-ordination of emergency repairs.  

Renewal projects included window replacement (all suites), Fire Code retrofits, new kitchen and bathroom millwork + sinks & faucets (in all suites), asphalt paving, parking garage concrete repairs, balcony concrete repairs, waterproofing, elevator retrofits, masonry restoration (for entire building) corridor and lobby flooring and ceiling upgrades. 

Various Schools - ReCAPP Audits:

Documented the condition and age of over 450 pumps at 68 schools including manufacturer & model numbers for ReCAPP and to develop the Board’s new Preventive Maintenance database;

Developed Preventive Maintenance programs & managed various renovation & Renewal projects including rooftop HVAC replacements;

Audit - Elora PS, Elora, Ontario:

Audit - John F. Ross CVI, Guelph, Ontario:

Renewal projects included roof & window replacement, Fire Code retrofits, interior flooring and lighting upgrades & sub-division of a two storey rooftop penthouse into 2 suites.

Construction Manager for the Village Offices of Heartlake (Brampton) and completion of similar projects in Oakville and Etobicoke.  Part of the Oakville project is shown in this photo and the projects included construction of 14 buildings and related site work on 3 properties;

63 Schools - ReCAPP Condition Assessments:

Documented hundreds of deficiencies for retrofit, replacement or renovation work and clarified or quantified scope of work for the original 2003 deficiencies documented by Ministry consultants;

Commercial Plazas:

Various asphalt paving, concrete curbs and sidewalks, and landscaping upgrades at properties in Milton, Oakville, and Scarborough;

Henrietta Highlands, Rochester, NY:

1.  Site inspections and condition assessment report for upgrades;

2.  Construction inspections during renovation of this multi-building residential facility;

Audit - Orangeville DSS, Ontario:

Glen Eden Crt Apts, Milton, Ontario:

Various Renewal Projects & Ongoing Maintenance Programs.

Renewal Projects included roof replacement, window replacement (all 163 suites), Fire Code retrofits, new kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, countertops, sinks and faucets (all suites), asphalt paving, parking garage concrete repairs, fuel conversion, balcony concrete restoration and waterproofing (160), new domestic water heaters, water treatment, elevator retrofits, corridor and lobby flooring and ceiling upgrades.

Maintenance programs included waste management, snow & ice control, landscaping, elevators, mechanical & electrical systems, fire safety systems, alarm monitoring, water treatment, and co-ordination of emergency repairs;

Shemin Nurseries, Milton, Ontario:

Construction Manager for this new facility located on the north side of the 401 on 5th Line east of Milton.  The site development included the new office & warehouse, a greenhouse, an irrigation system, well drilling, a new pump house & new gas supply service.  As shown in the aerial photo, extensive land works were required around the new building facility.  Permits included building in a flood plain & pumping stream water.  The facility is now occupied by the Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association

1680 Midland Rd, Scarborough, Ont:

Various Renewal Projects & Ongoing Maintenance Programs.   Projects included roofing, fire suppression system upgrades, and provision of new masonry openings for windows as shown in photo;

Bronte Corners, Oakville, Ontario:

Various Renewal projects including interior finishes as well as restoration & waterproofing for concrete and metal stairs and walkways.  Maintenance programs included snow & ice control, landscaping, & Mech/Elect systems;

Various Renewal projects including window panels, masonry repairs, interior renovations, HVAC upgrades & exterior paving.  Maintenance programs included landscaping, snow & ice control, M&E systems + emergency repairs;
